PT-141, INN bremelanotide, is a synthetic cyclic heptapeptide. It is the C-terminal carboxyl acid analogue of Melanotan II, differing from that by having a free acid rather than an amide at the C-terminal end, and it shares the lactam core that maintains the alpha-MSH binding motif in its active conformation. PT-141 is a growth hormone secretagogue agonist with its strongest affinity for MC4 and MC3, the subtypes expressed in the hypothalamus and other regions of the central nervous system, and a lesser affinity for MC1.
PT-141 is used in research on MC3 and MC4 receptor pharmacology and central melanocortin signaling research. Provided as a lyophilized powder, 10 mg per vial.

Rates and free shipping

Processing and tracking
